Test method and Principle

Each strip contains special enzyme. When the blood is applied to the target area in the strip, glucose in the blood mixed with special chemical in the test strip and a small electric current is produced. The strength of this current changes with the amount of glucose in the blood sample. The meter measures the current , calculates the blood glucose level, displays the result, and stores the result in the memory

Contact Bars: Insert this end of test strip first and facing up into the test strip port of the meter. Push it all the way in until it will go no further.

Important Information

Store test strip vial in a cool and dry place below 30°C(86°F). Keep away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not refrigerate.

Store test strips in their original vial only to avoid damage and contamination. Do not transfer test strips from the vial to any other container or vial.

After removing a test strip from the vial, replace the vial cap immediately and close tightly.

Use each test strip immediately in 3 minutes after removing it from the vial.

Do not use test strips from any vial that is damaged or left open to air.

Write the discard date (6 months after first opening of the vial) on the vial label when you first open it. Discard remaining test strips after the discard date.

Do not use test strips beyond the expiry date (printed on the package) or discard date, whichever comes first. It may cause inaccurate results.

Avoid getting dirt, food or liquids on the test strip. With clean and dry hand you may touch the strips any where on its surface.

Do not bend, cut or alter test strips in any way.

Test strips are for single use only. Never reuse a test strip that has had blood or control solution applied on it.
